Adam – Owner

The Venue has a very special place in myself and Nicola’s hearts, as we celebrated our wedding here in 2003. Since taking over the venue in 2016 we have spent a lot of time transforming it into the venue that it is today. With continued support from our family and friends, and a fantastic team that are now in place it makes us very proud. We hope that every customer who visits The Venue has a great experience.

I truly have the best job in the world. Working with such wonderful and talented colleagues who provide endless inspiration in a career I love is priceless. I wouldn’t change a thing. Meeting so many wonderful couples from different walks of life, as well as the wedding suppliers who come with them, is incredible. It’s an honour to help them plan their very special day. Now, I have an active role behind the scenes, managing staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the venue. Hospitality has always been, and will continue to be, my life. If I can make our couples and guests happy, that is what makes me happy.

James – Head Chef

James has over 20 years of experience within the industry and has worked as a head chef in his previous post. Whether you are looking at a relaxed and informal Wedding reception to a more formal affaire James will make sure that your guests enjoy a fabulous meal cooked from local, high quality produce which is prepared and cooked for you and your guests here in the mill.

James has over 20 years of experience within the industry and has worked as a head chef in his previous post. Whether you are looking at a relaxed and informal Wedding reception to a more formal affaire James will make sure that your guests enjoy a fabulous meal cooked from local, high quality produce which is prepared and cooked for you and your guests here in the mill.

I’m often the first initial contact and have communication with you leading up to your special day whatever the event maybe. I take great pleasure in seeing and hearing that customers had an enjoyable experience and made long lasting memories.
